Email Pastor BobPastor Bob comes to us from around the world. First being born and raised in California, then in July 1973 marrying the love of his life Gail, they moved to Virginia Beach, VA where they served in the Navy for 4 years. Both receiving Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives in April 1974 and feeling that God had placed a call on their lives to leave the Navy and return to Sacramento, California. There they raised two daughters Kristen and Karen. In April 1983 Pastor Bob went to work for the US Air Force to begin a journey that would take him and his family around the world.
In August of 1992 God called them to England. His word for them was, "You take your children where you want them to go, now I want you to take them, where I want you to go." They packed up their things and moved to Croughton, England. There through a series of dreams God showed them that they were to start a church and He would make a way. Following Gods' direction they started "Croughton Christian Fellowship" on the Air Force base where he was working. In August 1993 Pastor Bob was licensed to preach the Gospel and then in 1996 he was ordained with Bethesda Christian Churches. In 1998 they had the wonderful opportunity to join their church with a local British church and move off base into a local town center. It was his desire to see the local community ministering to the military members in their community, the church was called "Oasis Christian Fellowship".
In August of 2000 God called them back to the US and assigned them to Andrews AFB. After returning to the US, they began attending Horizon Fellowship, a Foursquare Church. In January 2002 Pastor became licensed with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and pastured Horizon Fellowship. In April 2004 it it was decided to close the church and await on the Lord for the way ahead. This closer lead them to a relationship with the then "Rock Church" in La Plata and in June 2006 they were asked to become the new pastors. A year later the church decided to become a part of the Foursquare Churches.
Since then Pastor Bob & Gail continue to seek the Lords' direction. Believing that God desire to establish the now, Charles County Foursquare Church to reach the unchurched, restore the prodigals, and release the church to do the work of the ministry. They lead, teach and minister to all who come into their lives or come through our doors. Pastor believes that there is a need in our community to again heal the sick, deliver the bound and see salvation come to all who are in need of Jesus Christ as their Savior. Released from the bonds of sin, from guilt and oppression, he believes that God is still releasing the captives and filling them with the power of the Holy Spirit. He believes that the evidence of God working in a persons life is demonstrated by the "Fruits of the Spirit." Adding to our faith, goodness, and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control, and to self-control, perseverance, and to perseverance, godliness, and to godliness, brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in you relationship with God and each other. Pastor Bob still believes, that God is alive and at work in the lives of those who desire to know the truth and to be free.
